Abstract: 

Due to its highly changing nature and variety, competition nowadays requires capabilities that can provide competitive advantages for firms. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of Dynamic capabilities and innovation capabilities on competitive advantage. Sensing, learning, integration, coordination and reconfigured capabilities are taken into account as the Dynamic capabilities, and exploitation and exploration capabilities were taken into account as the innovation capabilities. As for competitive advantage, three dimensions including cost leadership, differentiation and focus strategy were taken into consideration. The sample consisted of 217 companies which manufactured heating and cooling systems in Tehran. They were selected by Sampling Available. The research is an applied study and, in terms of data collection, it is a descriptive and correlational study. To analyze the data, the structural equation model was used. PLS measurement, correlation test, mean comparison of one group and comparison of the mean of two independent groups were conducted too. The findings indicate that, to achieve a cost leadership strategy, all the dimensions of Dynamic capabilities are of positive and significant effects. However, to reach the differentiation strategy, only the sensing capability has a positive and significant effect, and both dimensions of innovation capability have a positive and significant effect on the dimensions of competitive advantage.

Abstract: 

Handwoven carpet is a functional art product which can be one of the country's income-generating and currency-generating sources by offering it in the world markets. Carpet production companies in the diverse world and unstable market changes need to achieve competitive advantages to continue their presence in the market. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of innovation capability and Dynamic capability on competitive advantage with three dimensions of cost leadership strategy, differentiation and focus in handwoven carpet manufacturing companies in Fars province. The statistical population included 42 active carpet producers and experts in Fars province and all of them answered the relevant questionnaire. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and correlational in terms of data collection. In the analysis of data from the structural equations for the totality of the model, PLS model, correlation test and Compare Mean (one group and two independent societies) were used. The findings show that; To achieve a competitive advantage in handwoven carpets, all dimensions of innovation ability have a positive and significant effect on the dimensions of competitive advantage (concentration, differentiation, cost leadership). From the five dimensions of Dynamic capability, the dimensions of perception, coordination and configuration have a significant impact on the differentiation strategy, and the two dimensions of learning and integration do not have a direct and meaningful impact on the differentiation strategy, which requires necessary training and review of the level of participation and mutual communication in the collective business unit.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to qualitative content analysis of the underlying approaches and theories of Dynamic marketing capabilities and provide a comprehensive typology of them. Therefore, by reviewing the articles from foreign databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, as well as domestic databases of the country, using the qualitative content analysis and based on the theoretical sampling method, finally, 61 articles were selected and reviewed in the period from 2000 to 2023. The findings of the present research, while identifying various theoretical approaches and underlying theories related to them, have classified eight identified approaches into three general categories in the following order: the first category (primary approaches), including resource-based and knowledge-based approaches; the second category (intermediate approaches), including micro-foundations, multi-level (hierarchical), and process approaches; and the third category (new approaches), including system approaches, configuration, and capability architecture. The results also showed that by using more integrated approaches such as the systemic approach, hierarchical approach, and capability architecture by future researchers, it is possible to develop more executable frameworks and models in the field of marketing Dynamic capabilities by examining the interaction and interweaving of various capabilities at different levels. The results also show that considering the necessity of self-sufficiency in the production of domestic goods and the importance of exporting non-oil products in the country, the approach of Dynamic marketing capability provides the possibility for company managers to discover the obvious and hidden needs of customers by absorbing knowledge related to the market and accurate monitoring of environmental opportunities to offer new products and services according to the needs and demands of customers.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: Using and applying the modern equipments with the excellent technology is one of the police efficiency indices in any country. On one side, electronic systems such as radar systems have important role in increasing the efficiency, rapidity and accuracy of police groups and on the other side, political issues such as boycotts along with some security topics such as controlling these systems lead the country towards local supply of these equipments. In the meanwhile, the role of companies with high technological capability for supplying these equipments is very important. Quick technology changes and environmental requirements are considered as the traits of police electronic equipments technologies. Hence, the companies for confronting such environment require rearranging and coordinating their organizational capabilities such as technology capability with the new environmental needs and opportunities increasingly and variably. Thus, this paper intends to present an appropriate model for promoting the technology capability in the technology-based companies that supply the police electronic equipments.Methodology: For presenting this model, after formation of a conceptual model, the survey was applied and the data obtained from 78 knowledgebased companies were analyzed and by means of structural equations modeling, the direction and intensity of relationships between structuresresulted in promotion of technology capability in these enterprises was studied. At end, technological capability improvement model in the enterprises supplying the police electronic equipments was presented.Findings and Conclusion: The enterprises with higher Dynamic capability that have higher capability in environmental perception and flexibility will have higher technological capability level. Achieving the higher levels of technological capabilities that include an integrated set of capabilities require something more than common technical, engineering and research capability particularly in the active companies in the excellent technology sectors such as police electronic equipments require Dynamic capability in order to improve and rearrange itself continuously and improve and reproduce the core competences of enterprise.

Abstract: 

Due to the lack of measurements in many regions, wave characteristics are estimated using different methods. Wave climate hindcasting/forecasting is mostly conducted by numerical models or empirical methods. Until now, different empirical methods have been developed for wave hindcasting. However, with the development of high speed processors, several sophisticated numerical models have been developed for wave prediction. These models are mostly phase-averaged spectral wave models developed in three generations. In the last two decades, third generation wave models have been used widely in academic and practical projects. In this regard, Port and Maritime Organization has produced his own model, PMO Dynamic. This model has been developed as a part of first three phases of Monitoring and Modeling of Study of Iranian Coasts project. PMO Dynamic package is a software available for engineering purposes. It has several modules that have been developed for different objectives. Wave model is the module which is used for the generation and transformation of wind waves in coastal areas. In this paper, in order to test the PMO Dynamic model capabilities, it has been applied for the prediction of wave parameters in Bushehr Bay and the results have been compared with MIKE21 SW model and measured data.

Abstract: 

Today, the focus of governments, industries, and consumers has significantly shifted from traditional products to the development of eco-friendly alternatives. Green product development is becoming essential for the survival of manufacturing businesses in most markets. In addition, with growing environmental concern, companies are actively competing in green economic development. Therefore, this paper aims to estimate new green product development according to the Dynamic capability theory. The current research is based on the paradigm of meta-positivism and utilizes a quantitative approach. Dynamic capability theory and structural equation modeling via M-plus software programs were used to analyze the statistical population consisting of CEOs and senior managers of 57 companies in Iranian dairy industry. The sample size was calculated using Cohen’s formula, and the questionnaire was provided to the sample members via email and social networks. The questionnaire’s reliability was confirmed using factor loadings, Cronbach’s alpha, and composite reliability. Also, its validity was evaluated using the AVE criterion. Researchers in this study were able to predict a high proportion of new green product development behavior using research variables. This shows that the exogenous variables used in the conceptual model were chosen correctly. The results underscore the negative impact of green technology turbulence and the positive effect of green product innovation, green entrepreneurial orientation, green transformational leadership, and green competitive advantage on new green product development. Additionally, the findings highlight the moderating effects of green Dynamic capability in improving new green product development. The impact of exogenous research variables on new green product development has been investigated in previous studies. However, there is a lack of studies on the moderating role of green Dynamic capability in this impact. This study aims to fill the empirical gap in the literature by demonstrating that business Dynamic capability effectively guides green product innovation and supports a green entrepreneurship orientation, which improves the success of developing new green products. Furthermore, by utilizing various theories as basic concepts, this research provides valuable theoretical and practical contributions, concepts, and recommendations for managers of dairy industry companies. Finally, our sample is collected from companies active in dairy industry and is limited to Iran.

Abstract: 

The present study has been done with the aim of exploring the effects of organizational Dynamic capabilities on competitive advantage in consulting firms. To do so, a grounded theory method was used which was suitable regarding the explorative nature of the research. Seventeen consulting firms were the research sample. The CEOs and members of board of directors of these firms were interviewed. The interview data and other written firms’ documents were analysed. The results showed that organizational Dynamic capabilities were effective on competitive advantage of consulting firms. Operational capabilities, trust-building capabilities, and firm strategy also played important roles in this relationship.
